In 2022 Rock Leaf was contracted for the shoreline restoration of Library Lake in Cumberland, Wisconsin. Our team removed the invasive cattail within the shallow march and established native species along the water. The area was sensitive due to the aquatic nature of the marsh and lake, so Rock Leaf ensured the correct herbicide was used on the cattail. After the cattail had been sprayed, our team seeded the area and provided erosion control measures, including biologs and biodegradable matting. The following year, Rock Leaf planted native plugs and juvenile trees to enhance the area.
