Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Subsurface drilling and sampling to physically investigate areas where recognized environmental conditions (RECS) have been identified, typically during a Phase I ESA.
In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) Injection
ISCO injection is a remediation technique used to treat contaminated soil and groundwater by introducing chemical oxidants directly into the subsurface via wells or borings. This process oxidizes and breaks down pollutants into less harmful substances.
Piezometer Installation
Piezometers are instruments installed into boreholes or wells to collect data on groundwater pressure within soil and rock formations, providing information to monitor groundwater flow and assess the impact of environmental activities.
Steve is a Certified Professional Geologist with a M.S. in Geology and 15 years of experience in drilling and petroleum geology throughout the United States. His experience includes vertical and horizontal wells, petroleum wells, and shale source rock, shallow sand, and deep carbonate reservoir formations. He has experience with analytical instruments, including XRF, XRD, SEM, IsoTube/IsoJar, GC-FID, GC-IR, ICP-MS, and pyrolysis/source rock analysis. Steve has supervised projects involving over 75 employees performing drilling and boring tasks.
