Tom Binsfeld


Tom has been in the Environmental industry for over 20 years. He has conducted numerous emergency response and site remediation projects and is MN-certified as an Asbestos Inspector. Mr. Binsfeld has worked in Emergency response since 1996 and has responded to various incidents such as railroad derailments, pipeline ruptures, leaking barges, and vehicular accidents.

Tom has conducted subsurface investigations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, and California over his tenure as an Environmental Engineer. At Rock Leaf, Tom has directed the drilling and chemical injection of the MPCA ISCO Pilot Study at Crane Lake, MN, and performs Phase I ESAs and Vapor intrusion studies on behalf of our clients. Tom has developed numerous Phase II work plans, and upon completion, many were subsequently moved to the Remedial Action Plan (RAP) Implementation process.
