In 2022 Rock Leaf broadcast sprayed and removed established turf across about 10 acres of field at Bassett Creek Frisbee Golf Park in Crystal, MN. The spray application locations were critical as to avoid spraying the fairways on the course. Following turf removal, Rock Leaf seeded the area with native prairie seed using a no-till drill and provided additional seeding and invasive spray as needed. Halfway through the contract, Great River Greening and the town of Bassett Creek decided to create a change order to remove the woody trees found on the southern side of the course. Rock Leaf accomplished this with chainsaws and cut-stump treatment. In 2023, Rock Leaf was contracted to provide a second seeding in additional areas as an amendment to the contract. Rock Leaf will continue to maintain this site via mowing and spot spraying into 2025.
